Dr. Lena Weber

Dr. Lena Weber is the head of the Competence Center for Women in Science and Research at GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in Cologne. Previously, she worked as an interim professor of Educational Sociology at the University of Paderborn and was a postdoctoral researcher in Sociology there. She is currently leading a sub-project of the EU project INSPIRE, which aims to establish an international platform for intersectional equality work in research and science. Her research focuses on changing gender relations, intersectional equality policies in science and research, the digital transformation of work, care work, and gendered division of labor.
