PhD Opportunities



The Chair of Enterprise Architecture offers motivated graduates the opportunity to pursue a doctorate. A doctorate is a prerequisite for an academic career. It demonstrates the ability to work independently in a scientific manner. Through close integration with practice, you also learn important professional skills and are excellently prepared for a career outside the university. The following information gives an overview of a doctorate at our chair.



What are your tasks?



  • Research: The chair offers innovative research topics with practical relevance, on which you work both independently and in a team. You benefit from exchange within an interdisciplinary team. You should aim to publish your research results in international journals and conferences.

  • Teaching: You supervise theses and seminar papers as well as project seminars in your area of interest and research. In addition, you are active in the organization, supervision, and implementation of courses.

  • (Practical) Projects: Complementing research and teaching, you support our cooperation partners in exciting projects. This gives you insights into current problems in various industries and allows you to establish important contacts with companies.
