Principles of Self-Organisation

Our research area is the Statistical Physics of Transport Processes and Self-Organization.
On the one hand side we strive for a fundamental understanding of these processes by analyzing classes of representative model systems that can be treated analytically. On the other hand we augmented this approach by the modelling of representative experimental findings: at the moment the kinetics of phase separation, and transitions in the dynamics of wet granular matter.
