Thesis Offerings
Applications for the next period are possible from mid-September 2024 until 15 October 2024
Regulations:
To apply for a bachelor's or master's thesis at the beginning of the 2024 winter semester, a complete! (see below) application must be sent by email to wertschoepfungsmanagement[at]uni-goettingen.de by October 15, 2024, 11:59 p.m necessary. To be considered in the process, please send us:
- Your current transcript of grades
- An indication of which topic offered by the chair you would like to cover in your thesis (first and, if applicable, second preference)
- A brief statement (5 -6 sentences) on why you are interested in this topic
Possible Topics for Bachelor Theses:
Note: All bachelor theses are Literature Reviews, which systematically present the current state of research on a specific topic. We currently offer literature reviews on the following topics:
- Sustainable entrepreneurship: A literature review of factors impacting the growth and success of sustainable startups.
- Corporate entrepreneurship: exploring the nexus between large organizations and entrepreneurial activities.
- Crowdfunding Platforms and Entrepreneurial Ventures: A Systematic Literature Review.
Possible Topics for Master Theses:
Quantitative-empirical (in English using the statistical software Stata):
- Parallel Pursuits: Understanding Entrepreneurial Entry in Dual Career Couples.
- Broadening the Understanding of Hybrid Entrepreneurship: A Cross-industry Analysis.
- Family Dynamics and Hybrid Entrepreneurship - Exploring the Impact of Family Dynamics on the Entrepreneurial Entry Decision.
- Unemployment and Its Impact on Starting New Ventures.
