SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My scientific interest has been focused on the molecular mechanisms of diseases. I have always been curious about how diseases emerge, proceed, and how they can be prevented. Breakdown of the control mechanisms or capture of the cell by infectious agents leads to disease development. Investigating those molecular aspects of diseases contributes to treatment; therefore, my effort in this field would also contribute to public health.
