SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am amazed by vast organelle crosstalk within cells, and I want to investigate organelle interaction, interplay between protein and lipid. Additionally, I am particularly interested in mitochondria, and I want to study how they are organized, how intricate, highly curvature cristae are formed and maintained. Also, how cells cope with undesired proteins and manage protein quality control attracts me.
