SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The molecular biology of diseases has always been a topic that has inspired me to pursue science. From neurodegenerative diseases to viral and bacterial infections, I have always had a desire to make a novel and translational contribution to people that suffer from these illnesses. My goal in science is to reach a point where my efforts – through basic research – will have a significant impact on real patients in the clinics.
