Summon your talents!
The event has been canceledLanguage: English
Objective:
- Use your imagination as a learning and research tool
- Learn how to shape different facets of yourself, so you can summon your talents whenever you need.
- Learn how to put yourself in someone else’s shoes
- Learn about ‘Live Action Learning’: A way of learning using embodied play.
Content:
Your imagination is a powerful tool. You can use it to shape aspects of yourself and gain a deeper understanding of others. It can also be used as a scientific research method.
This interactive lecture will teach you more about how to use your imagination in an embodied way. We will look at your talents and how your imagination can help you manifest them. Because within us lies a wealth of untapped talent, waiting for expression. Some talents are familiar allies, while others remain dormant, awaiting discovery. Imagine harnessing these abilities at will, when you need them most.
Imagination also fosters empathy. Step into another's shoes, understanding their world as your own. Through this empathetic lens, learn about how others might think, feel and act. You can do this for yourself or for higher purposes. We will show you how the imagination is already being used as a scientific research method and as a professional learning tool in organizations such as the United Nations.
Method:
- Live Action Learning: Learning through imagination
- Psychosynthesis / The multiple self: Using subpersonalities consciously
- Embodied empathy: Learning more about others by portraying them.
Target group: The lecture is useful for all. We target it at people who already have some experience and are used to thinking about themselves critically: PhD and master students, Bachelor students
Limit of participants: 60
