IWSM 2014: Conference Venues
The conference venues are located in the historic city centre, which is famous for its medieval churches and characteristic half-timbered houses.
Conference Venue
The conference takes place in the Historical Building of the Göttingen State and University Libray.
Short Course & Welcome Reception
The Short Course on Sunday is held in the conference centre at the observatory (Sternwarte) near the city centre, and the Welcome Reception on Monday takes place in the historical observatory itself.
The walking distance is approximately 10-15 minutes from the conference venue.
Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner takes place in the building of the German Theatre.
