Winter Term 2025/26


The registration for the seminar starts on October 1st (10 am) and ends on October 23rd (10 am). To register for the seminar, please send an email to: im-seminar@uni-goettingen.de with the following information: name, matriculation number, and course of study.

Seminar topics will be provided as slides on October 26th and distributed via email together with further information. Students should form groups before the official kick-off and prepare a ranked list of their preferred topics. Topic preferences will be collected during the kick-off meeting, and topics will then be assigned accordingly.

    Please check the StudIP Course for your timeslot and the rules regarding the presentation. Each group will present for 15 min, followed by a 10 min discussion.

  • If you are ill and cannot attend one of the meetings, you must submit a doctor's note. If you have valid concerns regarding attending in person, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will discuss potential alternatives.













Examination:

Attendance at seminar dates, handing in a seminar paper, and holding a presentation. The presentations should be approx. 30 minutes long, and the written seminar paper should be an elaboration of the topic of max. 8000 words per person.

Course Description:

Each seminar paper will be prepared by a group of two students. Topic slides will be distributed by email before the kick-off meeting. During the kick-off, groups will submit their topic preferences, after which topics will be assigned.
