Unsere Forschungsgruppe beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung von Waldinitiativen im Kontext von Politik und Governance. Neben dem Blick auf politische Instrumente liegt das Interesse insbesondere auf der Analyse sozialer Milieus und einer auf diese ausgerichteten Kommunikation. Dabei liegt unser Schwerpunkt aktuell bei Privatwaldeigentümern und -eigentümerinnen sowie der Gesellschaft allgemein. Unsere Arbeit basiert auf vorangegangener Forschung zu waldrelevanten Initiativen, Netzwerken und Mehrebenenpolitik, weltweit und in Europa. Zusätzlich können wir auf Erfahrungen aus inter- und transdisziplinärer Forschung in Deutschland bauen, die auf resiliente, klimaoptimierte Waldbewirtschaftung bzw. -nutzung abzielte sowie auf vorangegangener Forschung mit Bezug auf soziale Milieus.

Kurzbeschreibung: Das Gesamtziel des Vorhabens ist es, eine gezielte Ansprache insb. forstferner Kleinprivatwaldeigentümer sowie eine effektive Kommunikation mit Waldinteressierten aus der übrigen Gesellschaft, mit und durch Sinus-Milieus zu entwickeln bzw. zu ermöglichen und damit die Nutzung und den Schutz der Zukunftswälder Deutschlands besser gestalten zu können. Zentrales Element der Verwertung ist die laufende, enge Zusammenarbeit mit Praxisakteuren, in transdisziplinären Lernlaboren, zur gemeinsamen Entwicklung, Erprobung und Dissemination von Kommunikationskonzepten sowie Maßnahmen, nebst wissenschaftlichen Artikeln, einem Handbuch sowie einer Best-Practice Broschüre für die Praxis und dessen Vorstellung in einer Abschlussveranstaltung.
