We will discuss:
- extracting key claims, summarizing, brainstorming ideas and finding sources,
- enhanced literature review, connectivity of papers,
- interactive summaries of key information
- generating and optimizing text
- brainstorming for proposal writing and in preparation of the review.
Next Level Scientific Project Management (for Grant Writing)
Friday, May 09, 2025, 9.00 am – 12.30 pm
Interactive Live Online WorkshopIn this session, we will focus on the following essential project management tools:
- Smart goal setting
- Identifying priorities in your project
- SWOT contingency planning
- Graphical representation of the timeline with a GANTT chart
- Setting out milestones and reaching deliverables
- Identifying and handling stakeholders
Your coach for all workshops will be Prof. Daniel Mertens from Schiller & Mertens.
Participation and Registration
The three modules are designed to be visited independently of each other, so you can attend either all modules, or the one(s) most suitable for you. You choose your sessions when you register.
Meetings take place online via Zoom and in English.
Who can participate?
This event is limited to researchers of the Göttingen Campus who are preparing an application, e.g. for an individual research grant or a collaborative research project of the DFG, and whose project will be hosted at the Göttingen Campus.
We welcome participants from all career levels, from PhD researchers to senior professionals, and with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
