Dr. Subarna Banerjee
Applied microeconomics, with a focus on education, gender, and political economy.
This is a wonderful opportunity for early-career scholars like me to engage with the development economics community in Germany and to broaden my academic network.
During this fellowship, I hope to make the best use of the expertise of researchers in Göttingen to advance my ongoing projects and fully utilize the university’s excellent resources.
At first sight, Göttingen strikes me as a beautiful university town with a rich academic tradition, a vibrant scholarly community, and an international and inclusive environment.
Outside of research, I enjoy exploring the city, socialising with new friends and colleagues, taking long walks in the beautiful natural surroundings, biking, and experimenting with cooking.
