IRTG Industry Excursions
The IRTG offers industry excursions for doctoral students and other interested CRC members. The visits aim to help our students gain a clearer career perspective in the energy research industry.Carl Zeiss AG in Jena
The industry excursion to Zeiss in Jena will take place at the 9th of April 2025. The visit includes a historical presentation of the company and a tour of various areas of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH. Please contact the CRC office if you want to join!
Sartorius AG in Göttingen
On the 24th of January 2025 we visited Sartorius AG in Göttingen. The visit started with a short company presentation. Afterwards Sartorius invited us to a tour of the production sight giving interesting insights to the membrane and filter production, as well as insights into the production of laboratory equipment.
PowerCo SE in Salzgitter
On the 17th of September 2024 we visited PowerCo SE in Salzgitter. The company was founded by Volkswagen to bundle the company's global battery activities. The visit aimed to give the students a better insight in Volkswagen’s current battery business as well as future career opportunities.
