Yonsei university is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea and located in Seoul, a metropolis with a population of 10 million people. The university was founded in 1885 as a medical school. Today, there are almost 40,000 students across 22 colleges, 21 graduate schools, and 155 research institutes at the university. The university buildings are located on the main campus in a neighborhood of Seoul called Sinchon.
In South Korea, Yonsei University, along with Seoul National University and Korea University comprise the top three most prestigious universities in South Korea, known as "SKY" universities. The new partnership with the School of Business was established in the 2013-14 winter semester. The focus of the partnership is business administration. Students from Göttingen have the opportunity to participate in Yonsei University Business School's MBA programme and take courses taught in English.
Students of the Faculty of Business and Economics should submit their applications directly to the faculty. Applications can be submitted during the standard application period.
