Changing demographics and globalization have further led to a ‘global war for talent.’ In response to these trends, international management has become an important aspect in multinational enterprises and an important subject for business students. The Chair offers courses and conducts research that tackles these challenges. The Chair’s core expertise includes international management, cross-cultural management, and Asian business. Considering the increased political and economic power of Asia, particular emphasis is placed on China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Indonesia, in addition to Germany.
