Kirsten Fladung

Kirsten Fladung started her work as a technical assistant at IAPN in October 2012. She takes care of analyses of mineral elements in plant samples by ICP-OES, atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and C/N analyser. She is involved in measurements of chlorophyll, reactive oxygen species (ROS) and activity assays of ROS detoxifying enzymes in plant tissues. Furthermore, she supports molecular activities such as protein isolation. She also assists PhD, graduate and undergraduate students with their plant experiments in the greenhouse and field.
