Exchange opportunities to South Korea

Ewha Womans University is a private women's university in Seoul founded in 1886 by Mary F. Scranton under Emperor Gojong. It is the first university founded in South Korea. Currently, Ewha is the world's largest female educational institute as well as one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea. Male students are admitted only as exchange students and at the university's own Ewha Language Center. Male students are not admitted to bachelor's, master's, or doctoral programs. EWHA has overcome many challenges in its history to become a recognized global center for women's education, including its excellent worldwide exchange programme, and to create new academic pathways for women in the world. The historic campus, for example, has become a work of art in the middle of the capital Seoul through the construction of the architecturally very special library over the last decades.
