Content
The lecture covers the principles of Internet economics from a theoretical and application-oriented perspective. It addresses the characteristics of digital goods, networks and network effects, the essential economic principles of the music industry, the foundations of value creation in the music industry, particularly possible pricing strategies, as well as strategic and organizational aspects of offshoring software development.
In the accompanying exercises, the contents of the lecture will be deepened with the help of case studies and practical exercises.
Study Goals
Students should get to know and understand the principles of internet economics from a theoretical and application-oriented perspective.
