Online application process

We obtain about 1000 applications per year for 30 study places. About 100 admission letters are send out per year in order to consider that students apply to multiple institutions. Hence, only about 10% of all applications are successful. You only have a good chance of admission if you meet all admission requirements and have a sufficiently good grade.

For a chance of admission, you should have a grade of at least 2.5 or lower (which is better) converted into the German grading system.

Please convert your grade to the German grading system using the Bavarian formula.
The result shows you which grade you have in the German grading system. The German grading system consists of grades from one to five, where one is very good and five insufficient. The minimum passing grade is four.
Please enter the following grades into the formula:

1. the best grade/ highest passing grade to be achieved in your grading system
2. the minimum passing grade in your grading system
3. your own average grade (personal grade, e.g., CGPA)
