Herzlich willkommen! A very warm welcome to all freshers at Göttingen University, and in particular to all students who are about to embark on discovering the beauties and intricacies and challenges of studying English!The programme for BA freshers is printed in blue and is in German, that for MA freshers is in green and in English. Just in case you were wondering about the mixup of languages and colours. ;-)

- 10-11am: Info Session: Student Life at Göttingen University (for MA students)
- from 11am: SEP Tour
- 11:15 (bzw. nach der allgemeinen Einführung) bis ca. 12:45h: Einführung in das Studium des Fachs Englisch/English: Language, Literatures and Cultures für BA-Studierende (ZHG 007)
- ab 12:45h: Die Fachgruppe stellt sich vor, Campustour und Mensen
- from 8pm: informal get-together in front of the Department
Tuesday, 17 Oct 2023
- 9-10am: Studying at the Georg-August-Universität (SEP 0.244)
- 10-11am: How to Use ECampus and StudIP (SEP 0.245)
Wednesday, 18 Oct 2023
- 10:15-ca. 12h: Einführung in das Studium des Fachs Englisch/English: Language, Literatures and Cultures für BA-Studierende (ZHG 007)
- ab 12h: Die Fachgruppe stellt sich vor, Campustour und Mensen
- 15-16am: Campus Tour (SEP 0.245)
- from 8pm: informal get-together in front of the Department
Thursday, 19 Oct 2023
- from 9am: Virtual MA Timetable Advice Sessions (individual slots will be allocated)
- ab ca. 10h bis ca. 14h: Timetable advice meetings for BA students, breakfast and (hopefully) short guided tours through the Department, hosted by Fachgruppe Englisch (main SEP seminar room and hallways)
- 15h: Kurse für Studierende des 1. Semesters werden in StudIP zur Anmeldung freigegeben
