SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS
I would like to understand how our current knowledge of the cellular properties of neurons, cytoarchitecture of different brain regions, and neuroanatomy, of course in association with a basic sense of psychology, could help us uncover the basic mechanisms behind the cognitive functions of the brain.
