CRC 1456 Spring School 2024 on Novel Imaging Techniques with Waves

took place on March 11 to 14, 2024

Motivated by applications studied in CRC 1456, ranging from helioseismology to electron microscopy, this spring school focused on modeling of new types of wave data, corresponding forward problems, and novel inversion techniques.

The Spring School 2024 started on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 13:00 with registration. The scientific program started at 13:45 and ended on Thursday March 14, 2204 at 15:15. The spring school was conducted in English.

How to get to Göttingen
By air
Göttingen is close to the international airports Frankfurt/Main and Hanover.
From Frankfurt Airport (FRA) there is a train connection about every hour (one change at Frankfurt Main Station) and about every two hours even a direct train. Travel time between 2 and 2 1/4 hours.
From Hanover Airport (HAJ) there is as well a train connection every 30 minutes, one change at Hanover main station. Travel time between 1 and 1 1/2 hours.
