Curriculum Vitae

Zheyi Xia joined the chair for social-ecological interactions in agricultural systems as a visiting PhD student in October 2024. He is currently a PhD candidate (successive postgraduate and doctoral program) in Land Resource Management at China Agricultural University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Land Resource Management (B.S. in Management) from China Agricultural University.

Research Foci
Zheyi's research interests include ecosystem service valuation and decision-making, and landscape sustainability assessment in the context of urbanization. His research mainly uses quantitative social research methods and geographic information systems. The focus of his research is on the socio-cultural valuation of ecosystem services in urban and peri-urban areas in eastern China, as well as their integration into landscape planning and conservation.
