Graduates of the summer semester bid farewell with ceremony


Florenz Sartorius Prize for academic excellence awarded to students


With an academic ceremony on Friday, 21 November 2025, the Faculty of Business and Economics at Göttingen University bid farewell to its graduates of the summer semester 2025.



The Dean of Studies, Prof. Dr Stefan Dierkes, and the Chair of the Examination Board, Prof. Dr Tino Berger, welcomed the guests. Nicola Rebmann gave a speech on behalf of the summer semester graduates. Dr Annika Bergbauer, a senior manager at Wavestone Germany AG, also spoke as an alumna of the faculty.



The "Florenz Sartorius Prizes" donated by Sartorius AG in Göttingen were awarded during the event as well. The best graduates of the individual disciplines received a prize. The Faculty honoured Yvonne Gerding (Bachelor of Science in Business) for her outstanding academic achievements in the field of business administration. Nicola Rebmann (Master of Science in International Economics) was honoured in the field of Economics. In the field of Business Education, Marie Currenti (Master of Education in Business and Human Resource Education) received the prize and Justin Hüsemann (Master of Science in Business Information Systems) in the field of Business Informatics.
