Kickoff of the practical project with Mercuri Urval (MU): Focus on Hidden Champions
This semester, the practical project for our “Master in Management” students has successfully launched in collaboration with Mercuri Urval (MU), an international executive search and leadership advisory firm. The project focuses on a highly topical issue: the identification and analysis of so-called “hidden champions.” It examines leading, often little-known companies in the automotive supply and plastics industries, as well as in the robotics and automation sectors. The project combines sound scientific methods with concrete questions from the field and offers exciting insights into key industries of the future.
To kick things off, we welcomed our contact person, Dr. Irena Schierjott, a partner at MU and a GAU alumna, to Göttingen. The personal exchange provided students with valuable insights right from the start and underscores the special relevance and appeal of the collaboration.
The project will conclude with a presentation of the results in mid-July at MU in Hamburg.
