Further information As part of the basic mathematics course, key content from upper (German) secondary school is reviewed in a concise manner. In particular, relevant content from the following areas of school mathematics is revisited in the pre-maths course ("Vorkurs Mathematik"): In the Mathematics for Business module ("Mathematik für Wirtschaftswissenschaften"), this content is then deepened and extended through a lecture, homework and small study groups - as well as optional mathematics coaching. We therefore do not require good grades in mathematics or participation in an advanced course. Only the willingness to engage with mathematical content and its application to the field of economics is a central prerequisite for successfully completing the basic training in mathematics and statistics. For our master’s programmes, you apply directly to the Faculty of Business and Economics.
