Applications, forms and information (B.A./M.A.)

To ensure that your request can be processed quickly, please send applications, forms, etc., preferably in digital form by e-mail directly to the Examination Office staff member responsible for your study programme.

Please note: Flexnow will be out of service during the first week of January 2027!
Due to technical updates, the Flexnow exam management system will be unavailable to examination offices, students, and departments from January 4 through January 8, 2027. For students, this means that the following will not be possible during this period:

  • Submission of digital coursework (including thesis submissions),
  • Registration for and withdrawal from examinations,
  • Preparation and verification of academic transcripts,
  • Using the electronic forms in eCampus.

The Examination Office team would like to specifically remind students who are currently writing their final thesis at the Faculty of Humanities and who are planning to submit it in early January that this will not be possible during the period described above. We therefore recommend the following course of action:

  • If the deadline specified in the acceptance email allows for this and a later submission date is not a problem for you, please do not submit your thesis until after 8 January 2027. Please note, however, that if, for example, the binding deadline is 4 January 2027, this must of course not be exceeded!
  • If it is unavoidable that you have to submit your final dissertation between 4 January and 8 January 2027, you may upload it to a cloud folder provided by the Examination Office. In that case, please contact the Examination Office by 15 December at the latest. You will then be sent a link to the relevant cloud folder. Please also note that when using the cloud solution for your thesis, you must attach a Declaration of Independent Work. The date on which you upload your work to the cloud folder is recorded as the submission date. Due to the Flexnow system being taken offline, the Examination Office will remain closed until 8 January 2027; however, the member of staff responsible for your case will ensure that your thesis is forwarded to your examiners as soon as the Examination Office reopens on 11 January 2027. The Examination Office will then also upload the dissertation to your electronic student file and record the submission date in Flexnow. You will therefore not receive a confirmation of submission until 11 January 2027 at the earliest.
