Fudan University (Chinese: Fùdàn Dàxué) lies in Shanghai, China's metropolis with over 18 million inhabitants, and is one of the oldest universities in the country. Moreover, it is one of the leading universities in the People's Republic. Its institutional predecessor was founded in 1905 shortly before the end of the Qing Dynasty. In 1941 it was converted to the public “National Fudan University”.
The partnership with the “School of Economics” began in the winter semester 2013/ 2014. The school’s focus is on economics and other economic sciences for graduate students. It is possible to apply within the framework of the regular application procedure.
It is also possible to apply via the Global Exchange Programm, if you want to study there as a undergraduate.
The exchange programm with the Fudan University is being supported by the DAAD via the ISAP-Program:
- Possible until 2027
- Selected students receive one of the available scholarships. An additonal application is not needed.
- Students with Chinese citizenship are unfortunately not eligible for funding for a stay in China.
