Göttinger Bodenkundliche Berichte
Over 100 volumes were published in the series ISSN 0340-4153 Göttinger Bodenkundliche Berichte (GBB) from 1968 to 2002. From 1968, Prof. Brunk Meyer (Head of the Institute of Soil Science (later Institute of Soil Science) of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Göttingen) and Prof. Bernhard Ulrich (Head of the Institute of Soil Science and the Institute of Soil Science at the University of Göttingen) were in charge of the publication. Faculty of Göttingen University) and Prof Bernhard Ulrich (Head of the Institute of Soil Science and Forest Nutrition at the Faculty of Forestry at Göttingen University) were the editors. Faculty of Forestry at the University of Göttingen) are the editors of the self-published series. With volume 96, published in 1992, Brunk Meyer became the sole editor of the series. Due to incomplete editorial work, some volumes did not go to print. This resulted in gaps in the numbering of the volumes that were actually published and are now available in digital form.
The series deals with numerous scientific issues in soil science. The topics range from soil chemistry to soil physics studies, such as the behaviour of colloids or landscape-related nutrient balances.
Only dissertations or summaries of dissertations and other scientific papers from the two soil science chairs were published in the GBB..
The reports, which were originally only available in printed form, were recently scanned and converted into PDF files. They are now available here.
