The Intercultural Learning Lab ICL started with two currently ongoing courses into the winter semester 2022/23: Intercultural Competencies in German and Introduction to Intercultural Competence in English. Students gave us feedback, that they appreciate the chance to attune themselves to topics of their studies even before the start of the course period, to change perspectives and even get credits for key competencies already – we agree!The winter semester 2022/23 will be composed of general cultural courses and culture-specific courses, always with the goal to broaden and deepen intercultural competencies. Thereto belongs our Virtual Exchange with ISET Béja in Tunisia about the topic "Arab*West*ern Cultural Perspectives" and the ENLIGHT Global Engagement Module. For the latter we attach an info-text in this newsletter, which can be forwarded to interested students and people. The application for one of the available places for students is opened! Furthermore we are happy to discuss and exchange in a wonderful company of appreciated colleagues of the University of Goettingen and international partners at the DICE conference about the topic ”Equity in Virtual Exchange“. There is a text with all information in English attached in this newsletter, too.
