How to reach us
The I. Physical Institute with the AG Weitz is located in the Faculty of Physics in sections B, C and D of the 2nd floor. The institute can be reached via the staircases in the B and D sections.
By car
You can reach Göttingen via the A7 motorway. Take exit 72 (Göttingen Nord) and follow the B27 over the first intersection. Turn right just before the bridge (Robert-Koch-Straße/Klinikum/Nord-Uni) and then turn left. After you have crossed the bridge, take the first exit on the right (Goldschmidtstraße). The Faculty of Physics is on the left hand side.
By train
Göttingen can be easily reached by ICE trains. Bus lines 21, 22 and 23 of the Göttingen public transport system run from and to the train station, during peak hours about every 15 minutes (as of October 2020). Detailed information on travel times and connections can be found on the pages of the Göttinger Verkehrsbetriebe (here). The Faculty of Physics is located at the station "Göttingen Tammannstraße".
