Statistics on Equal Opportunities
The percentage of women who enroll in higher education has been increasing over the past few years. However, the percentage of women who begin their studies changes at the latest in the higher academic degrees. This phenomenon is called "leaky pipeline". Already with a doctorate, the proportion at the university level as a whole reverses. At the Faculty of Humanities, the reversal occurs "only" at the level of habilitations, but the consequences are far-reaching and explain the significantly lower proportion of women in professorial positions.The causes of this phenomenon are diverse.
