Virtual Exchange for learning German - Göttingen and Galway
A new virtual exchange project of the Lectorate German as Foreign Language and the German Department of the University of Galway will start in winter semester 2022/23: Students at both locations will learn German together (from level A2.2 CEFR) and exchange impressions and experiences from their university life. For example, the learners will create podcasts, videos or photos with short texts in which they describe their university life. In synchronous online meetings, they discuss both their impressions at the two universities and also exchange information about their outcomes. This allows them to apply their German skills directly in authentic interactions and gives them opportunities for reflection. The project is supported by Enlight.
