Dr. Bernd Ulber (i. R.)

Research Interests

Research of Bernd Ulber focuses on the development and improvement of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) strategies, particularly in oilseed rape, winter wheat and corn. Interactions between pests and crop plants, pests and natural enemies. The effects of environmental factors and pesticide application on these relationships are analysed in order to optimise cropping systems and to reduce harmful environmental impacts of pesticide application.

Current Research Projects
