Gender ratio in university – identify, analyse, change

Current scientific Gender-Studies discuss sex and gender no longer as biological determinate. Both, sex and gender, are the conclusion of social construction. Cultural and social practices make them exist. This understanding of sex and gender does not make them optional or user-defined, since the construction of sex and gender is imbedded in a powerful social gender ratio.
What does this theoretical view mean for a daily routine, future plans or face to face communication? Where is the possibility of change?
To deconstruct, change and overcome these structures there has to be awareness of one’s own sexuality.

Workshop-contents:
- individual experiences and fixed structures of sexism inside university
- advanced attention to stereotypes that are learned and that reproduce gender behaviour
- the offset of individual, cultural and institutional discrimination because of sexuality
