Lecturer: Frank Lauterbach

Seminar’s objectives:
Writing academic papers, proposals, abstracts, reports, etc. is a common but sometimes difficult task for any researcher. This workshop is designed to support you during your writing process. We will meet regularly to discuss your work in progress and make suggestions for improving it. Any type of writing at any stage of the writing process can be included. A willingness to cooperate and give feedback on the work of other participants is, however, necessary. More general input on particular issues of the English language or of academic writing can also be given if requested. The first meeting with further information is on February 12th.

Requirement: good command of spoken English

Deadline for application: starts in January 2010 until February 5th 2010

This course is sponsered by the "Stipendien- und Betreuungsprogramm (Stibet)" of the Germand Exchange Service.
