Research contracts

In the interests of legal certainty, it can make sense to make contractual arrangements with the project partners involved for the realisation of research projects. In the context of externally funded research collaborations, this is often required by the respective funding institution. It is also usually necessary to conclude a contract if the university is to receive payments directly from the project partners involved.

We are happy to support and advise you on contractual solutions in a national and international context. When reviewing and/or drafting such contracts, we liaise closely with the Department of Finance and Controlling. Sample contracts for research projects are available to university employees on the intranet.
