Prof. Dr. Doris Läpple
Doris Läpple is Professor in Economics of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems since August 2023.
Before joining the University of Göttingen, I was Associate Professor at the School of Business and Economics at the University of Galway, Ireland.
I am an agricultural economist and I study how to support sustainable agricultural practices. I use farm accountancy data and gather my own survey and experimental data to explore agricultural production decisions, technology adoption and extension effectiveness, and their interactions with the environment and wider society.
I teach courses related to agricultural and food economics, as well as quantitative methods.
I am Co-Editor at the Journal of Agricultural Economics .
