Maria Luísa Fernandes de Araujo


Maria Luísa is a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Chair of Economics of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems. Her research focuses on the sustainability trade-offs of organic agri-food systems in Europe and Brazil. Her interests lies in understanding the interplay between sustainable production and the challenges of a shift to organic systems.
She holds a master's degree in Development Economics from the University of Clermont Auvergne and the University of Göttingen, and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Brasília, Brazil.
