Consent for Data Processing within the InDiGU-PLUS Project

As part of my participation in the offerings of the InDiGu Plus Project, such as language courses, compact formats, consultations, and similar formats, I consent to the processing of my personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). For the organization and implementation of the programs, as well as for the evaluation and further development of the offerings, I also agree to the collection and processing of the following additional information: country of origin, employment status (e.g., student, employed, unemployed), mother tongue(s), and other spoken languages, as well as other information relevant to participation.

The controller according to Art. 4 No. 7 DSGVO is Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (excluding UMG), represented by the President, Wilhelmsplatz 1, 37073 Göttingen. The specific data processing entity is the InDiGu Plus project.

My data will be processed solely for the purpose of organizing, implementing, and managing the mentioned programs, including course registrations, participation confirmations, communication and information exchange, as well as the evaluation of the offerings. This also includes the use of the collected data for research purposes, scientific publications, and the publication of evaluation results on the project website and related institutions in social media and during conferences and meetings, provided this is done anonymously or with my prior consent. The legal basis for the processing is my consent (Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. c) DSGVO).

My data will not be shared with third parties unless this is necessary for the implementation of the programs or I have explicitly agreed to it. My personal data will only be stored as long as necessary for the aforementioned purposes or as required by legal retention periods. For research purposes, the data may also be stored and processed beyond the duration of the project if this is necessary to achieve scientific objectives and I have given my consent. In this case, the data will either be anonymized or stored in a way that ensures the protection of my privacy.

I am aware that I have the right at any time to request information about the processing of my data, demand the correction of incorrect data, request the deletion of my data, request the restriction of processing, or object to the processing. Furthermore, I can revoke my consent at any time with future effect.
