Cooperations
The chair has gathered extensive experiences in policy advice and the building of cooperation with political stakeholders on all state-levels. International cooperation consists in playing a leading role in research networks, for example in the foundation of the international scientific journal Forest Policy & Economics or the cooperation with the IUFRO divison" Forest policy and governance", which lead to international conferences in Indonesia.
Prof. Dr. Max Krott is a member of the scientific advisory board of the European Forest Institute. Close relationships exist and common research projects are done as well with forest policy institutes in Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and many more.
