Excursions

Do you study at the University of Göttingen and would like to get some insight into professional practice? Do you work in business and would like to make contacts in science?

Strengthening and deepening contacts is one of our core competencies. In every semester, the section Business Contacts and Knowledge Transfer offers excursions to attractive companies. At the University of Göttingen there are also a number of other excursion programs. On this page we jointly present our offer.

Would you like to stay in the Göttingen region after your studies? Southern Lower Saxony offers a variety of job perspectives, which the team of SNIC will be happy to explore with you on business excursions.

The Southern Lower Saxony Innovation Campus (SNIC) also organizes visits by companies to regional research facilities to support the exchange between science and industry in Southern Lower Saxony.

Career Service

Working in Germany or working abroad? The Career Service invites you to visit international companies and discover career prospects in Germany and worldwide. This offer addresses especially international students.

KOMPASS for students of humanities

Humanities, and then? Where do you want to go? These or similar questions are familiar to all who have chosen a course of studies in the humanities.

With expert talks, workshops and excursions, the KOMPASS program aims to help you navigate towards your professional destination, also and not least beyond classic fields of work.

SyNaPSE Supervised Networking

The project SyNaPSE aims at linking up Master's students with experts from local companies and academia,who will report on job expectations in their companies or on creating scientific careers.

The participants will exchange notes about career options in science and economics and will develop concrete ideas and options regarding their future professional positions and/or research projects. The special feature of this program is that it will be supported by a professional coach in supervised networking.
