The oral examination is designed as a public defence of the dissertation (oral defence); the date will be posted as a public announcement.
The oral defence shall consist of a specialist presentation lasting no more than 45 minutes, in which the results of the dissertation shall be put forward, followed by a discussion that may refer to a wider scientific context relating to the dissertation.
The duration of the oral defence is at least 60, at the most 90 minutes.
