Prof. Dr. Dr. Detlev Schild

Prof. Dr. Dr. Detlev Schild has been the Director of the Department of Neurophysiology and Cellular Biophysics in the Centre Physiology and Pathophysiology of the Faculty of Medicine Göttingen since 1997. As co-founder and current speaker of the course in neurosciences Prof. Schild is an active member of the board of the Göttingen Graduate School for Neurosciences and Molecular Biosciences (GGNB) as well as of the board of the DFG Research Centre Molecular Physiology of the Brain (CMPB). He is and was a member of various University committees, most recently as member of the Senate from the 1st of October 2007 until the 31st of March 2009.
