Career Opportunities with the European Institutions
Counselling serviceMy name is Caroline Beckmann and I am the EU Careers Student Ambassador for the University of Göttingen. My job is to inform you about interesting career opportunities for students at the EU institutions, e.g. internships and trainee programmes.

As an attractive employer, the EU offers an international working environment and the opportunity to actively shape the future. Students, but also graduates, have the opportunity to complete internships or paid traineeships at the EU institutions. In addition, the EU offers unique career paths and is looking for employees from all disciplines, be it humanities and linguistics, psychology students, lawyers, economists and many more.

- Careers at the EU: In various tabs you can find basic information about the EU, the values it represents and current topics. In the tab "Life, Work, Study" you will find everything about jobs and internships at institutions of the European Union.
- European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO): The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) takes care of the pre-selection of the staff of the institutions. Here you can find everything from the reasons for a career in the EU, to selection processes, to job vacancies.
Become an EU Careers Student Ambassador yourself
In this one-year position, you will be the contact person for students who are interested in working in the EU. You will have the opportunity to organise presentations, attend careers fairs and build up an international network from which you will benefit in particular. In addition, you will collect plus points for your CV and have the chance to develop yourself in a variety of ways.
