Under the patronage of State Secretary Prof. Joachim Schachtner from the Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK) and Göttingen's Mayor Petra Broistedt, participants in the Start-up Competition LIFT-OFF have been given the opportunity to take the first steps towards founding their start-up in a variety of workshops and a mentoring program with experienced self-employed people over the past few months.
On May 23rd the award ceremony took place in the Alte Mensa at Wilhelmsplatz. The finalists presented their start-up idea in a short pitch in front of over 200 guests. A total of 15 sponsors, including the three main sponsors SerNet GmbH, Sparkasse Göttingen and Life Science Factory, provided the winners of the Start-up Competition LIFT-OFF with material and financial resources worth over 45,000 euros.
