In an increasingly digital world, business IT professionals are essential. Learn how to drive innovation, optimise processes, develop business models and equip organisations for the future. The Faculty of Business and Economics is redesigning the Bachelor’s programme in Business Information Systems with effect from the 2026/2027 winter semester to prepare you specifically for new social and economic challenges. In light of digitalisation, sustainability and global transformation processes, the curriculum and skills required are being updated to ensure a future-oriented and practice-oriented education. Students who begin their studies in the 2026/2027 winter semester will study under the new examination and study regulations, which come into effect in the 2026/2027 winter semester. The redesign will affect the existing examination and study regulations for all Bachelor’s programmes at the Faculty of Business and Economics. Students already enrolled may continue their studies under the old regulations up to and including the 2029 summer semester or switch to the new regulations. Almost every fourth person in Göttingen is a student. It goes without saying that there is a lot to experience here. In our video, students talk about their studies at the Faculty of Business and Economics and show how they spend their free time in the perfect student city.
