Click here to download a pdf with the relevant information.The faculty of physics is situated at Friedrich‐Hund-Platz 1 on the North Campus of the University of Göttingen. Enter the Physics building at the main entrance and turn right until you reach hall way F.
You will find the Institute for X-Ray Physics on your left hand side. The secretariat is in room F.00.131.
By airplane:
The closest airports are Hannover and Frankfurt Main.
By car:
You reach Göttingen by leaving the A7 at exit 72 (Göttingen Nord). Go straight until you see signs to “Klinikum/Uni Nordbereich”. Take a right and then next left onto Robert‐Koch-Straße. Follow the signs to “Universität Nordbereich” and take a right onto Goldschmidtraße. The Physics building is on your left.
By train:
Göttingen is reached conveniently by IC/ICE trains from most major German cities.
By bus:
