The Master's programme requires compulsory attendance with lectures, seminars, exercises, internships, projects and excursions.

    Occupational fields

The knowledge imparted in the consecutive master course of study "Integrated Plant and Animal Breeding" should prepare the students for their subject-specific or scientific occupational field. Agricultural scientists with the university degree "Master of Science” in "Integrated Plant and Animal Breeding" can act as managers

  • in companies engaged in animal and plant breeding,
  • in operations of the agriculture and food industry,
  • in specialised consultants in the areas of breeding and production technology,
  • in national and international agricultural industry,
  • in service industries, e.g., as experts, consultants,
  • in the public sector, e.g., at agriculture chambers, ministries and departmental research
  • in international organisations,
